Being a full resource for travel agencies since 2001, Acqua Development is one of the main software suppliers dedicated to this area in the Romanian market. Today over 1000 travel agencies use our products which cover the entire area of activities of travel agencies. It all began with the attempt to computerize this extremly complex domain, initially developing a product for local accomodation tour operators, continuing with service packs (transport + accommodation) tour operators, to finally develop an easy way to use this product for their retailers. During the last two years we dedicated ourselves to the development of products that aide the collaboration between travel agencies, easing the interaction between the travel agency and it's suppliers. We succesfully managed to get together competitors on the travel agencies market who shook hands to work through our systems.

The main assets that brought us where we are today have been flexibility and the dynamics of our products. Together with renowned partners we have started the distribution of our products in Eastern Europe. The targeted markets are countries like: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary and Bulgaria.
We offer interface between tour operators and resellers for flights, accommodation, tour packages, medical insurance etc.
We strongly promote integration modules from global travel distributors (Worldspan, GTA, Hotelspro.com) and want to ease interaction between agents and their customers with the latest technology and ideas of tourism distribution.

Regardless of the types of packages sold by a travel agency we have implementations in all major categories of travel agencies. For us, the size of the travel agency does not matter. We have a suitable solution for each one. For instance we have clients that are spread over 20 working points in the country and having over 200 users, and we also have customers with a single spot and 1 to 3 users. Of course depending on the size of the agency we will recommend the solution that do not suffocate the agency's work, both financially and in terms of implementation and use.

One of the conditions of a successful business is to establish relations with powerful partners. From the beginning we aimed high and looked up for these partnerships. We try to facilitate the connection between these partners and their travel agencies customers. Thus we have managed to bring innovative products on the Romanian market: the first distribution system developed in Romania and based on XML technology was being launched in the summer of 2008, the first system that interfaced with the two leading ticket processors: Travelport and Amadeus since 2002. We are expanding to other markets to find the same kind of partners wich will guarantee our success and will enhance the quality of our products in the global European context.
